America Ferrera
America Ferrera was born on April 18, 1984, in Los Angeles, Calif. The daughter of Honduran immigrants, she started acting in community theaters and school plays at the age of eight. Her film debut was in "Real Women Have Curves," where she won best actress at the Sundance Film Festival. America is also known for her role of Carmen in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants."
